The patterns, the pattern-drafting, the cutting, the boning and the hand-finishing all happen under one roof, in a factory that has made corsetry and nothing else for over twenty years.
That is unusual. Most of the corset brands you will find online are retailers. They buy finished garments from a small number of suppliers, put their own label on the packaging and resell them. It is a legitimate way to run a shop, but it means the brand cannot answer a question about how the garment was built, cannot change a pattern, and cannot make you something that does not already exist.

What "authentic steel boned" actually means
A steel-boned corset uses spiral steel bones along the curved seams and flat steel bones along the back and busk edges, set into a strength layer that carries the tension. Anything that does not do all three of those things is not a corset in the structural sense, whatever it is called on the listing.
We make the steel components ourselves rather than buying them in, which is why we can be specific about them.
